Sodium Salts are among the oldest Salts ever used by mankind. Sodium Chloride, popularly known as "table salt", has been used to season and preserve food since the Stone Age. Other compounds of Sodium are chemicals used since ancient times, such as soda (Sodium Carbonate) and  salpeter (Sodium Nitrate).

For us as a manufacturer, Sodium takes a key position due to its numerous useful compounds. In particular, in pharmaceutical and medicinal applications, Sodium Salts play an important and diverse role. For example, Sodium Citrate is used as an anticoagulant in blood bags. Sodium Acetate is used in the fractionation of blood plasma. Other Sodium Salts such as Phosphates and Carbonates are used as excipients for pH-adjustment. Of course, Sodium compounds are used in the production of infusion and injection solutions. We can manufacture Sodium Salts in accordance with many pharmacopoeias and in various purities.
